Ring Size Guide
Find Your Perfect Fit
“Finding the perfect ring is an emotional journey. Let’s ensure the unboxing moment is flawless.”
A perfect fit slides on effectively but meets a little resistance at the knuckle. Use this interactive guide to measure accurately, understand how environment affects size, and choose the right Costozon piece.
How are you measuring?
Choose your situation to see the best method.
Method 1: The Paper Strip
Best for accuracy when you don’t have a professional sizer. You’ll need a strip of paper, a pen, and a ruler (mm).
Wrap: Wrap a 4-inch paper strip around the base of the finger.
Knuckle Check: Crucial. Wrap the paper around your knuckle too.
Select a size that slides over the knuckle but isn’t too loose at the base.
Mark: Pull snug (like a bandage) and mark where the paper overlaps.
Measure: Measure the length in millimeters and use the chart below.

The “Golden Hour” of Sizing
Finger size fluctuates due to hydration and temperature. Avoid measuring when fingers are shrunken (cold/morning) or swollen (post-workout).
The “Wide Band” Rule
Wide rings (>4mm) create more friction. A “true size” will feel too tight.
For Wide Bands
(Cigar bands, Stacked sets)
Order Size (Indian):
13
*We recommend sizing up +1 size for any band 4mm or wider.

Troubleshooting: What if it doesn’t fit?
Diagnosis: Your knuckle is significantly larger than the finger base.
Solution: Do NOT size down, or it won’t pass the knuckle. Ask a jeweler to add “sizing beads”—two small metal bumps inside the band that grip the finger base.
Diagnosis: The ring pushes skin up around the edges. This restricts blood flow.
Solution: It needs to be sized up. Do not force it.
Don’t Panic. Raise your hand above your heart to reduce blood pressure in the hand.
Solution: Apply Windex or soapy water as lubricant. Gently rock the ring back and forth—do NOT pull straight.
